During the race, you will complete eight separate 1 km runs, so your training should include moderate and longer-distance running.

It's crucial to get used to running after intense upper- and lower-body work, so your body is prepared for race-day fatigue and transitions.

The remaining 50% of your training should focus on the workout stations.
Each station tests different functional abilities, including movements such as burpees, wall balls, and sled pushes and pulls.
